Product Details
The term “scrap gold” refers to gold that is sent to a refiner to be melted down and recycled. Therefore, any item that contains gold and is meant to be reprocessed can be considered scrap gold. In addition to our bullion business, YLG is also one of the largest scrap gold buyer companies in Singapore. With our new innovation, our clients can sell their scrap gold with YLG For example, if you sell your old jewelry to a gold dealer, who will send it to a refinery, the “items” you sell will be bought as “scrap gold”.

Gold Scrap
An important characteristic of scrap gold is the purity, which means the purity of the scrap is made of actual gold. YLG has been satisfying customers by using the refinery which manufactured by LBMA-accredited refiners and other approved entities. With high-quality products and services to customers that provide solutions, add value and exceed expectations. The company will always be recognized as a market leader, trusted business partner and supplier.

Gold Dore
A dore bar is a partially refined gold bar. Dore bars are typically a super high gold content alloy, sometimes actually pure. However, they have no uniformity or set standard. Gold dore bars are the result of removing all non-metal particles out of the gold dore, and consolidating the gold bearing naturally formed alloy into a single chunk. Most often, gold dore bars have, other than gold, mostly silver left in them, plus often other by-products of the gold mining process. The main reason for creating dore bars is to facilitate handling by now dealing with larger chunks of gold bearing alloy, rather than loose particles. In that sense, dore bars are basically the last stage between mining gold ore and refined gold bullion. The idea is that dore bars are pure enough, and large enough for gold refineries to handle.

Gold granules
Gold grains, or granules, are formed during the gold refining process.Liquid gold is pumped into cold water resulting in the formation of tiny grains of pure gold. These particles have an organic shape and difference in size. Gold grain is often melted down to produce gold bars and jewelry or it is used for other industrial purposes.

YLG use only refiners approved by the LBMA. They have to maintain excellent laboratory and production facilities, and there is a proactive monitoring of these refineries on the good delivery list. These are usually the only bars that are used for vaulting and storing purposes.
